2012. A New Year.

2012. Now approaching the final 200 meter stretch!

Also, anyone who knows me, knows I am becoming glued to my guitar. Some volunteers read, others go to cantinas and refresh themselves with the locals. I spend a lot of my fun time jamming either alone or with panamanians. Slowly i've stepped into town music teacher and although my past history has always been teaching foreign lanuguages, you'd be surprised how much teaching different types of music and rhythem also poses as if it were a different language sometimes! Anyway, for fun I'll record some progressions that I liked and then I'll improvise solos over my recording, its so much fun and just liberating, here's a practice session: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uO7sWVrpBOs&feature=youtu.be

  1. Liz, looks like you just finished your time in Panama. Not sure where you were-somewhere in the Darien?? I just got back from a short trip with my Embera and Wounaan friends. We went from Sambu upriver to Borobichi and Boca Trampa. This is my 7th time now in Panama working with Youth With A Mission. I would like to know more about how your time was and what you think was accomplished?? andrew@goodimpressions.us missiontrek.blogspot.com
